Excerpt: Conflict Desert Storm was one of the first games I bought for my X-Box, costing £12.99 for a second hand copy from Game on Oxford Street in London. Without going into excessive detail, if you want quality X-Box games at cheaper prices you really are better off going to Game.
Pros: superb graphics and sound effects - wide range of missions - easy to pick up - easy controls - excellent gameplay
Excerpt: When my brother got his xbox, this was one of the games that came in the package. I had never really looked into it, but as soon as we got round to playing it, i'm glad i did. The game follows your typical war theme. Stop the terrorists, blah, blah.....
Pros: 4 player co - op . Custom soundtracks . Fun war game .
Excerpt: As the title suggests this game is not based around stealth. You play as a 4 man team dropped deep behind enemy lines to carry out covert missions such as destroying scuds and eliminating high profile targets. The team comprises of a team leader, heavy gunner, sniper and demolition expert.
Pros: Great 2 player mode
Cons: Enemys vocab leaves alot to be desired . . .
Summary: Well Im going slightly against the grain here but this game doesnt quite pull it off. Its like a dumbed down version of Ghost Recon. The AI is poor for your team members who have a tendency to run out of carefully placed posisitions and to shoot you in the back as you run.
Summary: As soon as you turn on your xbox (when the games starts) you are shown a video. You would have to be mad to say that it doesn't look great. I went to the training mode and i easily grasped the controls. The first missions are relatively easy but by the 6th level it starts getting a bit tricky.
Summary: A much anticipated game finally hits the shop shelves, however, it disappoints in so many ways. X-Box games should really have first-class graphics. This does not. The controls for moving around are near identical to Halo, however, that is where the comparison with the best X-Box game stops.
