Summary: In my ideology you can never have too many Colin McRae Rally games, which is why I recently bought this one for my Xbox 360 despite already owning it on my PS2. Like Colin McRae Rally 2005 you can play 'CMR 04' on the Xbox 360 as well.
Summary: This game is just too annoying, if you ever enjoyed V-rally or the original WRC then please don't bother with this. The cars have no feeling and EVERY single track is a thin line with either side covered by some sort of boggy mess that slows you down.
Excerpt: I’ve had this game for about 6 months now and I’m still not bored of it. There’s about eight single and multiplayer modes including 2WD (which is new), 4WD, Group B, Expert, Stages and a lot more.
Summary: This game is fine. I have only played a demo. PC and Xbox. but own a PS2 and I went out to PC world once. before i had my PS2. and had to go the Xbox there. 2 people were playing on it. BUT NEXT TIME I WENT ON IT! It had excellent graphics. and graphics even better than the PC version!
Summary: I had the original of this game on the old Playstation, and while I enjoyed it I found progression through the game to be too hard. That's all changed with this, as it's far more obvious what's what from a rewards perspective, and this helped to keep me hooked.
Excerpt: Colin McRae 4 on the Microsoft Xbox console, as expected with an Official Xbox magazine rating of 9.1/10, is an outstanding game for its genre. It is said to be just an improvement on Colin McRae 3 with a few different cars to choose from, and different stages to race; however if this is the case...
Pros: graphics are good, wide selection of stages and vehicles
Cons: just an improvement on 3 with different vehicles
Excerpt: Anyone who has played rallying games on the xbox knows that colin mcrae is a good game. Anyone who has played Colin Mcrae on any other console will not have seen it this good. Basically the idea is that you drive your rally car around rally tracks all over the world, using a choice of cars, and then...
Pros: graphics are better, scrolls well, good gameplay
Cons: more of the same, just tweaked with newer cars and better graphics
Summary: In-car viewpoints...In-car characters...In-car chasis damage...In-car rumbling sound effects. Here it is then, the fourth, gravel churning, in-carnation of the hugely popular 'Colin McRae' franchise.
