Summary: If you're looking for an excitting real-like Rally game, this is yours. Since enviromental noises, even individual damage in tires and parts of your car, up to different behiavor deppending the tipe of car you're driving. It's like Forza Motorsport, but rally version (even better than Microsoft version). I'll strongly recommend it.
Fun game; driving dynamics and graphics could be better

Summary: Definitely a fun game, and if you are a rally racing fan Colin McRae 2005 is worth the money. It's challenging, which is a good thing, and the rally locations are realistic. The only reason I don't give this game higher marks is that driver dynamics and graphics could be better. Of course this game dates back a few years, so this should be expected. That being said, in my opinion Forza Motorsports still reigns king in the world of Xbox racing games.
Summary: I love this game. Graphics are great, physics fantastic etc. There are a few improvements that I want to suggest, but don't change whats good with the game now - I would hate to see this become an arcade racer! 1) The controller customization gives you just about every option you could imagine except one - you can't use the right thumbstick to change gears - please put this option in.
Summary: I don't care how much "Fun" and "Realistic" is the pitch from the marketing. This game is BAD! Pretty cars in the select menu, that's it for the cool graphics! In game visuals are lame! The Replay mode is just.. well I have not seen such a low quality since my Dreamcast! And the controls and "realistic" driving? Where? I'm a race game junkie, so my skill is pretty decent.
Plain and simple...the best rally game ever period!!!

Summary: I've been a follower of the colin mcrae rally series since CMR 2 and they all have been great, but this one beats them all. The graphics are top notch and the physics are really good. You'll find yourself moving your arms and legs with the car in front of your TV, breathing hard in order to catch the ghost car in front of you or trying to beat the leader by seconds in the championship mode.
Summary: I'm sure most people will compare this game to Rallisport Challenge 1 and 2, so I'll go ahead and jump on that bandwagon. The way I see it, RSC has more of an arcade feel to it, while Colin2005 has more of a simulation feel to it. RSC might be more fun for the casual video game player because it is easier to master. But for my money I want the real-deal simulation. Anyone who has watched rally racing on TV will agree that this game is as close to reality as it gets.
Conclusion: A great game. The realism is great and a grapihcal master piece. The career mode is great and really helps you to master the game and get into some great cars. Overall this is a great game that would be played very often and should be a part of driving game lovers collections.
Excerpt: I do enjoy playing my driving games and this is a pretty good effort of a game as it is quite challenging to play. As with previous efforts in the Colin Macray series you get a host of different courses each with their own race surface which means that you have to adapt your driving and racing style to suit the terrain. There are plenty of wooded stages on the gravel as well as the chance to drive across a frozen lake in Sweden.
