  • Excerpt: My son has recently bought the new season version of Championship Manager having had an older version before. As well as having the up-to-date statistics on all the players it has some new features which make the game even better. The same principal for playing the game applies as before.

  • Excerpt: The game itself is one of a kind. Easy to follow, but experience in previous championship manager games would help you to understand the intricacies of this version. You can select up to 3 leagues from 26 countries, some with summer seasons, and some with winter seasons.
  • Pros: Can manage more than one team per country selected
  • Cons: Imagery is limited, gameplay is technically complex

  • Excerpt: When you think about football management simulations, which game comes to mind first? Championship Manager. There's no disputing the fact that it's the genre's pinnacle, the very bastion of footy management games, and with each new release it gets even better.

Strangely Addictive

Amazon

  • Summary: I thoroughly enjoyed this game which is utterly bizarre because I am not particularly a football fan, there are no pretty graphics and I am not a big fan of numbers (there are enough statistics to keep Steven Hawkins busy for a lifetime). Why is this?
