Great graphics but kinda boring

M. Robles, Amazon
21 May 2013
  • Summary: I love simulators and this is a pretty good one, but it takes too long to move along with this game. I often have to reset my driving attempts and the lag between the retry and actually starting off again takes too long and I have found myself falling asleep at times. JK but it is bad. Still, the graphics are amazing and the cars are cool. I wish simulators could figure out how to simulate speed and depth of field.

Driving Tips That You Should Read!

Richard C. Jensen, Amazon
29 August 2011
  • Summary: I put in at least 50 hours of racing before I started over from scratch. Why? First of all, this is a great game, but this being the first time I've ever owned a racing game (no Gran Turismo or anything else), combined with a very slim "manual" for Forza 3, I didn't understand everything that was going on at the time. I started out with Season Play (as is natural) but ran into some problems about 15% into my career.

What Forza 2 Should Have Been

Strategos "The Guardian of Time", Amazon
8 November 2010
  • Summary: Forza was a great game. Forza 2 was a good one that should have been great. It had amazing graphics and physics, no arguing against that. But it made the same mistake Ferrari F355 Challenge on the Dreamcast did. It was too dang hard. The thing about simulations is that while they are interesting for exploring the possibilities in the real world without real-world consequences (wrecking cars that cost millions isn't something you can do any day of the week for real), they...

Let's go racin'

Charles Bray "Student of the world", Amazon
8 March 2010
  • Summary: An excellant racing simulator, the driving physics are spot on. The graphics are first-rate and would look even better if I had an HDTV. It still looks superb on my CRT. I also purchased the Prima guide for this game and it really helps with tuning and painting. I have painted several cars and was really pleased with the results. The colors are rich and varied, but I was a little disappointed with the variety of the car decals provided.

Don't normally play driving games but Forza3 is FUN!!!

Christian Daniels, Amazon
1 December 2009
  • Summary: I Don't normally play driving games but Forza3 is FUN!!! Graphics are great and the variety of different race tracks and car classes makes the game even more FUN!!! Bought the XBOX 360 Racing Wheel to accompany the game as I have never been great at driving games using a game pad. The wheel makes a big difference. I was a little disappointed that i didn't wait a month after its initial release [...], how was I supposed to know that the price would drop.

Excellent Game Overall, but yes, the online thing is an issue

Kevin L. Theobald, Amazon
11 November 2009
  • Summary: Finished my 5th season of Forza 3 and have driven the best cars in the game and all the tracks. I enjoyed the game offline. The driver assist items make it so even so-so players can do well. People looking for the Gran Turismo experience will find this gets close, but when the full version of GT5 comes next spring, I doubt the majority of people would save Forza 3 beats Gran Turismo 5. Forza 3 is a great fix to get you by until Gran Turismo 5 comes out.

An excellent addition to a great franchise.

C.T., Amazon
6 November 2009
  • Summary: Let me start off by saying that I am an avid racing fan. I played quite a bit of Forza 2 and have been anxiously waiting the arrival of Forza 3. Firing up this game the first thing you will discover is that to get all the benefit of the game you MUST have a hard drive. If you do not you will not be able to use all of the cars nor race all of the tracks.
