Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds Review

Conclusion: Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds has its flaws, such as the camera and clunky controls, but is a nice total package. It definitely captures the feeling of the Buffy universe in more ways than one. For the people who are diehard fans of the show, or those that have simply liked a few episodes, this is a must have game.
Excerpt: When you’ve reached the point where you’ve written literally hundreds of game reviews as I have, there are two types of games that you look at with apprehension when you have to sit down and start playtesting – games based on superheroes and movie/TV show licenses. Developers of these types of games often get lazy and rely on the license to drive game sales rather than putting effort into making the games fun to play.
Summary: Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds is a well made action/adventure game. The single player mode is good although a little short when compared to many action/adventure games that are on the market today with a typical play time of 12-15 hours. Multiplayer extends the lifespan of the game but the modes can get old pretty quick as there is nothing too addictive in there.
Excerpt: Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds review Game Over Online - http://www.game-over.com Ah, the trial of growing up. Remember what it was (or is) like as a teenager: Consistent pressure to fit in with your peers, fighting with parents and the headaches of homework could easily make this time hell. Well, just imagine if you had to live these years in Buffy Summers’ shoes.
Excerpt: Chaos Bleeds is set during the fifth season as a “lost episode.” The basic premise for the game seems a bit like a greatest villains reunion show. While I won’t spoil the entire plot, which is crafted just like the show, here’s the basic gist, one which fans will completely eat up. Ethan Rayne, an ex-friend of Giles and nemesis of the Slayer, and The First, a primordial form of evil, are locked in a massive extra-dimensional test of wits.
