Hawk turning black?

Raaz Khoshnood, Amazon
19 January 2014
  • Summary: Great product and the shipping was great, but the cd does not have any updates they made to the game. So unless you can get connected th live with your x-box you will have some problems. Ex: On split screen Hawk's invisibility makes her turn black.

Brute Force Reader Review - 7.0

breakyoudown, IGN Entertainment
12 April 2006
  • Conclusion: This game has its moments of fun but its mostly stupid. Your parteners are all cool and fun to be but you can only be one of them at a time and they die so easily! God if there so pro why do they suck. USE A MEDIPACK!

Brute Force Reader Review - 8.5

Murray B., IGN Entertainment
22 October 2004
  • Conclusion: First thing to learn in Brute force is that the inventory is shared. This means that you don't want three miniguns because they are all drawing their ammo from the 600 round pool. To be successful each weapon should draw from a different type ammo pool.

Brute Force Reader Review - 7.1

Padrino, IGN Entertainment
10 September 2004
  • Conclusion: Despite its name, Brute force is a game of tactical warfare. You play as one of four characters of the "Brute Force" team. You mission is to be completed with little discretion and "no survivors". Brute Force is a third person action shooter with tactics thrown in for good measure.

Brute Force Reader Review - 8.4

Hotcharity, IGN Entertainment
14 April 2004
  • Conclusion: I was so in love with Brute Force when I first started playing. About half way through the tedium started to set in. By the time I was at the end it was a chore. There are a lot of good things about Brute Force. It's a great game in the graphics and sound department.

Alot of Variety, But Not As Good As Halo

John Whaley, Amazon
1 October 2003
  • Summary: A unique twist on the "team combat" genre, Brute Force is not the revolutionary shooter that Halo was, but it is still a great deal of fun. Each member of the team has unique abilities that give a balanced feel to the game.

Lacks depth

"cj72", Amazon
5 August 2003
  • Summary: This game does lack the depth of a strategy game. There ARE only 6 worlds, and some Snipe shots shouldn't kill. The sniping strategy is also rendered ineffective at times because of the length of viewable playing area. That said, this is a fun game.

Good, not great.

Jeff Schmidt, Amazon
4 August 2003
  • Summary: OK, OK, OK! It doesn't live up to the hype. I agree. I've been looking forward to this game for the past 9 months. Its hard for any game to live up to that kind of frenzy of expectation. However, I have to admit, I still think it is a more enjoyable game than Halo for the following reasons. 1.

Waiting for Halo 2? Wait on...but this'll entertain you.

David G. Stidham, Amazon
8 July 2003
  • Summary: Okay, picked up this title last night and played it for a few hours. Nice graphics. Nice control interface. Annoying tendency to actually have the camera move into the character if you move up against an object and you turn translucent. I can live with it as time goes on. Playability is acceptable.
