Summary: I remember when this came out and how hyped it was. It was one of the most anticipated games of that year. It was supposed to be the next halo and a next gen game. This game failed to do what it was supposed to do. Maybe if they didn't hype it up so much it would have been a little more well received but it wasn't. The story isn't much of a story at all really. You go on missions bounty hunting and fighting mercenaries and alien groups. Nothing new or exciting.
Brute Force is a good game by most standards, but too many flaws make Brute Force seem like a missed opportunity

Summary: When I first bought Halo 1 and watched the stunningly amazing trailer for this game, I had long anticipated the release of Brute Force. On release day, I bought this game without hesitation. But I wish I would have waited to read reviews. As I said, this game definately had potential; but it just seems unpolished and definately didn't live up to the high expectations I had set for this game.
Summary: After watching the video for this game, I had been excited for the release of this game. The day it came out, I ran to Toys R' Us to buy it. But it definately wasn't what I had expected. The whole four person squad is a great feature, don't get me wrong. You can instantly switch between a four elite supercommandos, each with their own special ability. Tex is a tough soldier whose specialty is using dual weapons.
Nice Multiplayer co-op, game falls a little short.

Summary: I am always looking for MULTIPLAYER co-op games and so was extremely excited to find this one and it had good reviews. My first reaction to the game was, mixed. The graphics could have been better and the camera angle takes some getting use to, its set just behind the character. But the co-op multiplayer, with up to 4 players was real cool! There are 4 characters each with a different ability and weaponry to match.
Summary: I'm sure there is loads more fun to have on the multiplayer but I haven't got system lynk or Xbox live, there's a split screen mode. There's a nice feature in CO UP when someone is on it and someone can just jump in and not have to start the level again. This just has shooting in it with team play.
Summary: The game is fun, and it is difficult when you start comparing to amazing games like Halo and stuff. The biggest problem is that the trailer and advertising made the game look so much better than what actually came out. It is a fun game though and worth the $20 that it sells for now. The idea of tactical strategy teamplay shooter is great though and hopefully developers take off from this idea and make even better games in the future.
It's not everything a tactical shooter should be...

Summary: O.k., so maybe I am being too critical but there was a lot of hype associated with the release of this game. After just a few minutes playing, I was certain that you could write a better plot on the back of a postage stamp. All-in-all, though, Brute Force is an entertaining shooter that allows you take control of a small group of specialists as they proceed through a handful of various environments. The story is rather one-dimensional but does get challenging at times.
Summary: This game is pretty fun and has good graphics. It isnt very good in 1 person mode. I was expecting the next HALO as Microsoft wanted you to. I think they kinda duped everyone with this one. It's like playing the same missions over and over again. I am no allstar gamer and I had no problem beating it with ease. I will be getting rid of it soon as there is really no need for me to keep it. These are probably the reasons this game is now 20 bucks instead of 50.
