Summary: Brute Force is a decent game, but brings nothing new to the table. It is just a basic, linear run and gun with poorly executed strategic elements. First of all, you can play through the entire game with Tex (the trash talking heavy weapons squad member)and just tell your squad members to stay behind...
Summary: This game is pretty fun and has good graphics. It isnt very good in 1 person mode. I was expecting the next HALO as Microsoft wanted you to. I think they kinda duped everyone with this one. It's like playing the same missions over and over again.
Summary: Come on, how many of you waited and waited for Brute Force to come out? I sure did. With all the extra time they spent on the game it should have been a lot better. I'll list a few points here... Good: -The graphics are really nice. -Awesome physics (bad guys go flying).
Summary: Maybe if this game hadn't been delayed for a year so they could keep improving it (so they told us), or if it hadn't been hyped like it was the second coming, I could be a little more enthusiastic about this game. As it is though, I have to say I was disappointed.
Summary: I rented this game just earlier today, and i must tell you, the game is not that muchfun to play. Granted, the graphics are great and it has a very polished look to it, the gameplay is not that good. The weapon selection is good, but i didnt really like the guns that much.
Excerpt: My partner and I bought XBOX mainly to play Halo. We play co-op games together and get a lot of fun out of them. After completing Halo for the umpteenth time, Brute Force was a new game on the market in multi-player co-op in split screen. Cool! Or so we thought...
Summary: Prepare yourself for some mindless blasting. Although you are in control of a team the manic nature of the action means that you may as well just charge in and leave the other characters to look after themselves. Tactical placement and firing angles just won't cut it.
Summary: It at first is a very fun and addictive game to play because of all the fast and exciting action, but as the game goes on the levels just seem to be exactly the same, it is sooooo rrepetative.... i played about 2/3's of the game and got bored..... dont buy it!
Summary: "Brute Force, a highly specialised unit of super commandos iniated to defend the Confederation" Heard it all before? I certainly had, and the games setting and storyline was cliched to say the least.
Summary: Despite the hype, Microsoft has shot itself in the foot with the release of this undistinguished squad-shooter. Looks nice, if unspectacular, plays ok, if not brilliantly... too much a hint at what might have been if it had used Live for more than downloads.
