Summary: Graphics are impressive but a game stands and falls on its playability and this game, at least for me, rubs its nose in the dirt. This game isn't even in the same ball park as Halo or Ghost Recon. The player controls are virtually analogue, not to mention a tad light and the team aspect is clumsy. No save function during levels either. For weapons, read things that go 'blam' and flash a lot. No rhyme or reason for the benefits of some over others.
Summary: Nice graphics, lots of mindless violence, but the backstory is laughable at best - down right stupid at worst. The gameplay is relatively ok, though I think it would have worked better as an FPS - the tactical squad element is almost non-existent, certainly on the early to middle levels. If you want squad-based play stick to Ghost Recon.
Summary: After completing Halo and Ghost Recon, I was desperate to get another game which I could play multi-player co-op mode on (not Xbox live). Therefore I went for Brute force before doing any homework, big mistake. The game idea is very good and I must say was rather excited about the notion of a team comprised of specialists taking on a variety of bad guys. The reality I am afraid was far from.
