Brute Force Reader Review - 7.0

  • Conclusion: This game has its moments of fun but its mostly stupid. Your parteners are all cool and fun to be but you can only be one of them at a time and they die so easily! God if there so pro why do they suck. USE A MEDIPACK! anyways co-op is alright until the levels get so puzzling when u have to kill every bad guy when there's always 1 left hiding in a corner. ANd why does this game allow you to "accidently" shoot your partenrs and they take massive damage?

  • Conclusion: This is the ****tiest game ive ever played. My friend convinced me it was the next halo, then sold his copy a week after i bought mine. Its still an on-going joke about how ****ty this game is. This game is not fun, the levels are repetative and boring, theres no good lay-out, ive gotten stuck in walls so many times. Everything about this game is annoying and not worth playing.

Decent at most.

  • Conclusion: This game is decent. Decent, no higher no lower. I got this in a bargain bin for 20 bucks so it wasn't a huge loss for me. If you can find it cheap and nothing better is around maybe pick it up if not this one is a renter.
  • Pros: Good graphics, each character has their own special move which is cool. There are very nice looking cut scenes and the VO isn't to bad. This game revolves around the special forces team code named "Brute Force". You've got Tex your weapons expert, Hawk the stealth expert, Flint the sniper, and Brutus "the cool lookin dude who does nothing but is awesome to look at and has a cool voice" guy.
  • Cons: Well this was dubbed "The next

Brute Force Reader Review - 8.5

  • Conclusion: First thing to learn in Brute force is that the inventory is shared. This means that you don't want three miniguns because they are all drawing their ammo from the 600 round pool. To be successful each weapon should draw from a different type ammo pool. After that it is pretty similar to most mission based shooters but in the most difficult areas using each character's unique abilities makes things go easier. This is a very fine but often underrated title.

Brute Force Reader Review - 7.1

  • Conclusion: Despite its name, Brute force is a game of tactical warfare. You play as one of four characters of the "Brute Force" team. You mission is to be completed with little discretion and "no survivors". Brute Force is a third person action shooter with tactics thrown in for good measure. It is often mentioned that it is somehow a soul mate of Halo in terms of controls and its lofty goal to be "the next big game".

  • Conclusion: I was so in love with Brute Force when I first started playing. About half way through the tedium started to set in. By the time I was at the end it was a chore. There are a lot of good things about Brute Force. It's a great game in the graphics and sound department. The controls are good and commanding your squad is a breeze. There's a cool variety of weapons to use and the characters special abilites are fun and, more importantly, useful.

  • Summary: Loved this game back in the day and with recently purchasing it it's still as hard and still as fun to play worth a purchase. I would recommend for anyone who liked desert storm or ghost recon look at it from a Scifi point of view it's a great game
