Conclusion: This game was very difficult to put a final score on. I mean the graphics were great, as was the storyline and presentation of the game. The audio was memorable but nothing over the wall astounding. Add in the fact that I practically love anything and everything with a vampire license tacked to it and you can see why I had a hard time coming up with the score.
Conclusion: that just plain sucked The highlight of the game where the skills you gained from beating other vampires whom were previous allies in the story but that will unfold if you ever play game, Skills like Fury sort of like an power punch or something, Super jump, telekinesis, even charming civilians and commanding them.
Excerpt: While Blood Omen 2 fails to reach some of the graphical goals set forth by other Xbox games, it still looks good. The dark, rat infested streets along with grimy, down right depressing environments do an excellent job of getting the point across that Meridian is not the happiest place on Earth. In fact, it does such a good job of conveying the mood, that many times you will find yourself questioning why you're fighting to gain control of the place.
Excerpt: Alone in the night, a shadowy figure quietly steps into the mist, blade in hand. In seconds, the figure disappears into the mist, creeping along slowly gaining on an unassuming guard, now just inches ahead. Soon, the cold shaft of the blade is driven through the guard’s neck and removed as the hapless foe’s body thumps against the ground. The sword is sheathed, and now our anti-hero Kain, a vampire of the night, feeds on his departed foe. That’s pretty much it.
Conclusion: DC and PC as well. New gamers can be excused from not knowing where BO2 fits in the timeline since it doesn’t affect how you play the game, but for the dedicated fan: “Blood Omen 2 takes place two hundred years after Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen, and several centuries before the events of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver. The vampire Kain awakens in a strange city with almost no memory of his former self.
