Half-Life 2 Review

Conclusion: If you already played Half Life 2 on a powerful PC, then you aren’t going to find yourself much reason to play the Xbox version, but for the vast majority of gamers that don’t have a gillion dollar setup, the Xbox version is a fantastic choice that will offer players a damn near identical version of 2004’s best FPS on the PC.
Conclusion: Fans of flying games and WWII buffs should already have Blazing Angels Squadrons of WWII pre-ordered, and if y’all don’t, then pick this title up, post haste. Those that question whether a flying game can be impressive without a flight stick will also want to at least give Blazing Angels Squadrons of WWII a rent.
Excerpt: The Xbox has been the only console from this generation that has been home to some great first-person shooters. The PlayStation 2 and GameCube have certainly dabbled in the genre, but never with the same success. The fact that no Xbox game has beaten Halo, though, is somewhat depressing, although testament to Bungie's stunning launch title.
Excerpt: The arcade-style WWII aerial combat game isn't exactly one of the most common, but you can pretty much guarantee that a few of them will arrive each year. Ubisoft has released Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII for the Xbox 360, Xbox and PC, and it ticks most of the boxes when it comes to dogfighting: large scale aerial battles, squad control, missions based on actual events, online play and more. Sounds good, but is it actually any fun to play?
Excerpt: Experience the most gripping and famous battles of WWII through the eyes of a squadron commander and ace fighter pilot. From the battle for England, the attack on Pearl Harbor, to the bombing of Berlin, your pilot skills will create WWII history. Conquer the skies of Western Europe, North Africa, and the Pacific and bring your squadron back alive.
Conclusion: THE VERDICT: The biggest problem with Blazing Angels: Squadrons of World War II is that the game is unremarkable. The gameplay doesn't do justice to the sometimes-excellent visuals and there are missions that cross the line from bland into annoying. Ubisoft is steadily building a reputation for being a top-class publisher. Unfortunately games like this only remind us of the days before, when mediocrity was the order of the day.
Excerpt: In Blazing Angels Squadrons of WWII, players test their air-combat skills as they experience the most famous battles of World War II. As a squadron leader, players can fly up to 38 WWII aircraft in both single-player and multiplayer missions. The game features squadron-based combat, in which each artificial intelligence wingmans specialized skill can be used to the pilots advantage.
Excerpt: A ADRENALINA DOS CÉUS !!
