Blade II is the only action/adventure combat-fest that allows players to be Blade, the half-vampire, half-human superhero who lives to rid the world of vampires. Armed with an arsenal of deadly weapons and over-the-top martial arts moves, players must stop the vampire underworld from farming humans for their souls by defeating enemies with extreme authority. This title is playable on Xbox 360™ with a software emulator. Please see http://www.xbox.com/en-us/games/backwa…

While Blade II may receive a superior grade as far as movie to game translations go, it is still a very mediocre game when compared other action titles on the market. Understandably, we go into these reviews with low expectations, and that's where I was surprised by Blade's playability and decent progression system. All in all, it will make for a nice rental and summer distraction but nothing I could recommend for purchase. Read more
Ultimately, Blade II can’t be recommended to anyone other than die-hard Blade II fans and even some of them will be turned off by the clunky control, repetition, and lack of real fun. Read more
Blade II pretty much follows the “games based on movies suck” creed to a T. The game is not entirely bad but it comes really close to the line. Blade II touches the very fine line between god awful and decent action game. If you liked the movies go pick it up as a renter, even if you love beat em ups this game might be for you but if you fall into the other 90% of gamers steer clear from this vampire killer. As I summarize my impressions of Mucky Foot's Blade 2 title, several points come to mind. Firstly, I think this game could've been far more exciting for hardcore Blade 2 movie fans if it weren't for the game's remarkable shortness. It may take you about five to six hours of intense gameplay to finish all the missions (that is if you manage not to die a lot). On top of that, the sounds are exceedingly monotonous, which doesn't exactly perk up the atmosphere. The music's... Read more

Great hand-to-hand combat, but gets very monotonous quickly; by the 2nd or 3rd level it starts getting boring. OH and the big downer is you hardly ever get to save, so 90% of the time you have to re-run the entire level all over again. Not worth the buy. Read more
Blade II, based on several scenes from the movies, especially here yo get to storm a club full of vampires! The graphics are good (not brilliant, but good). It has a pretty good playability, the controls take a little bit of adjustment but the moves are especially cool! Its glaring problem is the repetition, constant action is mostly all there is, but this is really sweet! It is, however, addictive! The constant fighting always seems to have me wanting to come back for... Read more
This game is hard to find because it was released back in 2002 but if you get ahold of this game, you'll find it fun the first time you play it. the only problem is once you beat the game, you probably wont play it again. The numerous cheats for this game add a little bit of spice but overall, replayability is low. I suggest you only get this game if you are a Blade fan and/or enjoy short term-fulfilling games.
