List All 1 PricesJade’s world is under attack from an alien force. Her government claims to be defending the people, yet more and more of them are becoming enslaved. Fighting oppression, propaganda, and deception, Jade’s quest as a journalist is to unravel the truth and expose the conspiracy. What lies beyond good and evil? You are about to find out.
The characters are typically weird but charming (you'll even find some of the enemies and the amusing way you dispatch them endearing). There are a few sub games (including racing) and although BG&E isn't the exactly the longest game in the world, once finished you seem to have done an awful lot, and will have enjoyed the journey immensely. The game never gets anywhere bordering what I'd call difficult or forces you to replay large sections as save points are regularly... Read more
Beyond Good & Evil is a fine example of how to take a number of different styles of gameplay and mix them into one finished product. Many games have tried to do this, but none have been this successful. Every facet of the game sets a high standard and easily lives up to that standard. It's an inventive creation that basks in some of the finest voice acting available, an incredible amount of visual pizzazz, and an incredible mixture of gameplay. Though I wish the... Read more
The letterbox presentation of Beyond Good & Evil gives the gamer a good indication from the get-go of what to expect; wonderful direction, excellent storytelling, and a compelling plot. The gameplay is good enough to hold its own within the cinematic confines and actually does its fair share to charge the story forward. Michel Ansel, creator of the slick Rayman title, does nothing to disappoint with BG&E creating a truly imaginative story that would be good in any... Read more

A combination of solid Zelda-style gameplay and cinematic excellence push Beyond Good & Evil into the upper echelons of action / adventure games. This is what an interactive movie should be. Read more
When I read about this game in a magazine in March 2004 I thought "I must buy that; It's outstanding..." In truth I never got around to buying it until just recently and honestly I rocks... I have only played the first few levels and its simply magical... The characters, the world, the gameplay and objectives all have a sense of peacefulness to them... So since this game is so beautiful you might be wondering about the story so here goes: in short the domz (aliens) have... Read more
If you have not heard it before, Beyond Good and Evil is one of the most overlooked games of previous years and that is a shame. The game successfully mixes different types of gameplay with a well crafted story. The action ranges form driving a hovercraft, picture taking, puzzle solving, whacking enemies with a stick, some stealth, etc. keeps the game from getting too repetitious. Overall this is one bargain bin game worth purchasing. Read more
Honestly one of the greatest platformers ever released, yet with such little publicity this underrated classic is somewhat ignored. Admittedly the stealth sections are a bit awkward and you may find travelling a bit of a chore, yet this game has such depth, wit and intelligence that it really deserves your time. Can't wait for the sequel either (finally!) Read more
Fun: The best description of this game I have heard was that if Pixar was to make a game this would be it. From start to finish this game is pure quality. It does best what is most important in a platformer: to create a world which is inviting, believable and alive. At the same time being a showcase for the great French wit, imagination and strong visual style. It is not the hardest or most adult of games but plays out at the perfect pace; it wants you to succeed, it... Read more
Yes yes yes, I agree, one of the greatest games of all time! Sometimes confusing what to do but being persistant makes for a very satisfying game to finish. Read more
