Ninja Gaiden BLACK Review

IGN Entertainment
11 March 2010
  • Conclusion: I know I’ll sound like a snake oil salesman with my next query, but…if a title existed that combined one of the best games ever with additional improvements, new difficulty levels and modes, and a coin-op ROM for fifty dollars, would you buy it? Of course you would, but Team Ninja isn’t going to sell you Ninja Gaiden BLACK for fifty dollars, or even forty dollars.

Scarface: The World Is Yours Review

VideoGamer.com
28 June 2007
  • Excerpt: Take the basic gameplay mechanics behind GTA, combine it with a hugely popular movie licence that allows for mature content on the more extreme end of the scale, and you surely have a recipe for success. If the guys working on the game happen to have had some pretty impressive results with free-roaming games in the past, all the better.

Battlefield 2: Modern Combat Review

VideoGamer.com
28 June 2007
  • Excerpt: The Battlefield series on the PC pretty much does what most men want from a video game. It lets you play a soldier, armed with a load of guns, grenades and gadgets, and then throws in a load of army vehicles. It's a total war experience that few other games have come close to matching, and an experience that, on a console, only Halo 2 comes close to. Sadly, despite its name, Battlefield 2: Modern Combat shares little of what made the PC game so great.

Battlefield 2: Modern Combat

Game Vortex
26 December 2006
  • Excerpt: If you aren't familiar with the Battlefield series, you've more than likely heard of or at least played one of the multitude of copycat games that popped up in the wake of popularity that followed Battlefield 1942 . This is the series that originated the idea of large, open battlefields littered with all manner of vehicles where two teams of players could blow each other up to their heart's content.

Scarface: The World is Yours Review

IGN Entertainment
11 October 2006
  • Conclusion: I hope gamers don’t judge Scarface: The World is Yours on what they may have seen or heard in the past, as this title has come a long way since Radical was pimping it two E3’s ago. I’d recommend giving Scarface: The World is Yours a chance in its completed form. From the story, to the combat situations, to the amazing cast, you’ll be hard-pressed to find another title that does a movie license (an extremely heralded movie) so much justice.

Robotron: 2084 Review

IGN Entertainment
4 January 2006
  • Conclusion: There’s plenty of nostalgic, and newly added, fun to be had in Robotron: 2084 . Both those who have played the original to death and those who have never blasted their way through the game will have tons of fun with the added multiplayer features. It would have been nice to see a new version of Robotron similar to the “evolved” version of Geometry Wars as opposed to the circa 1982 visuals that the game currently uses.

Battlefield 2: Modern Combat

The Armchair Empire
1 December 2005
  • Conclusion: winning campaign to be one of the best Xbox Live games today. The single-player campaign follows the exploits of a near-future world enraged in war, and at the epicenter is the Russian region of Kazakhstan. The story sends you all around not only Kazakhstan, but the Middle East and Asia. Each locale features a diversity of gaming environments, from snow-covered Russia to the dust-blanketed Middle Eastern deserts.
