Fantastic game for co-op play
NtU , GameStop
23 November 2008
Summary: This is one of the few games out there that has true co-operative play. I particularly like that the co-op play is full-screen (this means your characters can't go TOO far from each other, but this is still much, much better than having a split screen). The action in co-op looks very much like the 'Lego Star Wars and Indiana Jones' model, so if you like that, you will like this game.
Summary: Im not going to write anything long, for those of you who have not yet played or even heard of Baldur's Gate... for shame. The game many of us know and love and thanks to love-the-movie it arrived the next day in what appeared to me to be pristine condition, the manual entirely intact, no signs of where and tear, perfect l-t-m I doff my cap
Summary: I found this game great fun also frustrating but it just made me more determined, the fact that you could never do the same thing twice is really great i could play it over and over and never get bored.
Excerpt: "This game allows for you to develop your skills throughout the game which will help you advance through the levels. The key to this game is to use the save pedestals which are skattered through the levels as frequently as possible, don't be scared to go back on your self and save before preceeding especially if you find a particular bit difficult. This is a great game for those who love to battle forward even when the going is tough. I highly rate ...
Pros: it provides a adventure game with both action and logic
Cons: The screen is always dark making viewing difficult, you have to sit closer
Excerpt: "This game is by far the best game that I have bought in the last few months. I am unsure as to how many parts to the game there are but I have completed the first with relative ease but am having much more difficulty with the second stage. The main problem with the start of the game is the fact that the designers obviously had the male gameplayers in mind as they have created a barmaid with ludicrous sized breast to set the first task. The main problem ...
Pros: One of the best Dungeons and Dragons games yet !
Cons: Loading times between levels seem too long .
Summary: If you like killing monsters, collecting treasure and gaining levels then this is the game for you. Solo or with a friend the game if a fantastic journey of constant action. The plot is fairly lite, but interesting. The gameplay is extremely addictive, with a friend even more so. If you've played diablo I or II the game play is similar.
Summary: When I bought this game i didnt know what to expect, as I dont usually go for this type of game. But i have to admit the rolling previews looked very impressive. Having completed it, after about 18 hours of play, I can safly conclude you will not be disapointed with this game. The ending suggest a sequal, and I just hope it is carried out. This is quite simply the best game of its type.
Summary: To start, the visuals on this game are amazing. In the game you start as a dwarf, an elven fighter or an archer all with their own individual qualities. from the start the story line is strong and very gripping keeping you 100% aware of what's going on. Along your journey you can improve your cahracter with new spells, armour, and weapons. not only do you find weapons and armour but you can also buy and sell from merchants along the way.
Summary: oh my god i have never played a game like this, i generally dont like RPGs but this isnt, u dont have to concern ur self with stats (but i was because i was desperate to level up) all u have to do is walk around and slash people or use spells or arrows or fire arows or enchanted arrows or use fire swords or lightening swords or enchanted swords well u get the idea to start with u get a choice of 3 characters a dwarf who is a lot like gimly out of LOTR, an archer who i...
