Diablo with platform aspects

  • Summary: Well, all the reviews fail to mention this: about halfway through the game you have to cross a field of 7x7 (or 9x9) tiles from one way to the other side, while jumping the tiles fall from under you. If you fail, you die. I tried it for about 100 times, then searched the internet for hints, no solution. This ridiculous part of the game (what on earth has it to do with gaming? If i wanted arcade platform aspects i would have bought other games!

Not really all that.

  • Summary: There have been good rpgs in the past, Diablo + Diablo II proved that. I understand that making an individual rpg is hard nowadays and so they decided that copying would not make the best game. This has left problems however, certain abilities being useless ( unleess you have a widescreen tv), jumps that can get on your nervesw and of course the amount of exp. you get on a harder difficulty making it not worth your while to play again.

A real opportunity missed

Jack Wild "jack_wylde", amazon.co.uk

  • Summary: Having played the PC version of this game I was really looking forward to its release. However, it did not take very long to realise that the XBox version is a pale shade of the original. The game is incredibly linear, with no real opportunity to explore or interact with other characters and the player advancement is also very limited and rigid. When you compare the sophistication of this game with Elder Scrolls (which has its own faults) it is just incredible.

Baldur's Gate aus einer anderen Perspektive

scoopexx, Ciao
2 May 2010
  • Cons: uninnovativ, maue Grafik, sticht nirgendwo wirklich positiv heraus

Ein Klassiker des Rollenspiels?

Scorpio3, Ciao
7 September 2006
  • Summary: Mit Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance (BG:DA) wagt sich der Rezensent einen einen modernen Klassiker der Konsolengeneration Xbox / PS2.
  • Pros: Gute Grafik, ansprechende Story, taktische Kämpfe
  • Cons: stellenweise sehr schwer, taktische Kämpfe
