Excerpt: ATV: Quad Power Racing 2 (ATV2) is an ATV game that includes races, stunts, and a little bit of vehicular fighting. While you get a variety of gameplay modes that are executed well enough, it's as if the game can't quite make up its mind as to what it wants to be and so it doesn't stand out in any particular area.
Excerpt: ATV: Quad Power Racing 2 takes you on a four wheeled romp through sand, dirt, swamp, and snow, all of which are modeled nicely in 3D. But while the contents of the level may be pretty, there is a serious lack of it. You ride through veritable barren wastelands with nobody cheering you on. And when a level is labeled 'desert', that's all you get.
Conclusion: most won't care and instead will be more interested in QPR2 if it's any good as a racing game. The most questionable part of QPR2 is the very aggressive and violent aspect of racing around the many QPR2's courses. While QPR2's racing is easily one of the game's stronger points, I don't see why the developers felt the need to damper the ATVing fun by allowing you to literally kick your opponents off their ATVs, thereby gaining an advantage.
