Hominid is a bit like its title character - short but sweet. The difficulty is there but there's just not enough content overall. Read more

While the lack of online co-op and steep difficulty level will deter some players, it’s hard not to be captivated by the charming presentation, varied action, and enjoyable boss battles present in Alien Hominid HD. Read more

If you love Viewtiful Joe you will love this. If you are getting bored while developers continue to churn on random generic FPS’s week after week you will love this. If you grew up on games like Contra, Metal Slug or Turtles in Time you will love this. Simply put, if you love games, you will love this! Alien Hominid is pure absolute undiluted fun! It deserves to be one of the top selling games of 2005 (although sadly we all know it wont!) Oh so highly recommended to... Read more

This game would have upset me had I got it for Christmas 15 years ago for my Megadrive. I would have felt ripped-off had I just purchased this for £3 for my mobile phone. If I'd downloaded this from a java/flash games website I would have very quickly lamented the wasted bandwidth and closed the window. Read more

Seriously well played for the independent prduction of this game and the presentation and graphics are very individual but.....maybe a bit to retro. Rock hard but if you remember Contra and the original Castlevanias (with better graphics) give it a go. Read more

If I'd downloaded this from a java/flash games website I would have very quickly lamented the wasted bandwidth and closed the window. The fact that Alien Hominid features on a downloadable flash game website isn't surprising. Being honest the gameplay there isn't all that different to this full price... Read more
