Excerpt: Throughout the early and mid '90s, there was a boom in movies that took place in "the hood." This urban-themed movie trend really kicked off due to the success of John Singleton's Boyz n the Hood . After that, the "me too" phenomenon kicked in, and there was suddenly a glut of gangsta movies--the quality of each steadily declining the further in you got. The same phenomenon is happening with games.
Pros: Good soundtrack
Cons: Dull presentation, Unexciting gameplay, Tired subject matter, Hokey attempt at an endgame message
Conclusion: It’s not that 25 to Life is bad, it’s actually just awful. Terrible in fact. There is not a single aspect of the game, less the soundtrack and Xbox Live play, which should be copied by another game. At the price of $39.99 (before whatever ungodly sales tax you have to pay) it would be nice if there was something in here that was worthy of half the asking price.
Excerpt: 25 to Life is yet another hip-hop, urban gangsta action game that tries to use loud rap music, excessive cursing, and non-stop gun violence to mask the fact that the gameplay is really lame. So lame, in fact, that ten minutes into it you’ll want to sentence the developers to 25 to life for releasing this mess of a game… The game opens with you playing as Andre “Freeze” Francis, a gangster who has promised his wife that he will leave the gangster life behind after...
Excerpt: In 25 to Life you will experience some hard action whether you are a gang member killing thugs and cops or a Cop trying to put a stop to the gangs on the mean steets.. Either way, whatever you are, your in for some fierce gun fights.
Conclusion: 25 To Life is a game that has already been forgotten, unless you a fan of online gaming. Giving all the other mediocre gangster shooters that have been emerging we really didn't need another one to be added to the pile. Sadly besides the online portion 25 to Life is a dated effort that seems too generic, and overall dull.
Podobny łomot od dziennikarzy dostaje 25 to Life , kontrowersyjna strzelanina w miejskich klimatach. CZEMU JEST ŹLE?
