Summary: One reviewer states that the game is too easy. Yes, the game starts on an easy setting. But simply turn the difficulty to Pro, and you're in for a challenge. Undoubebly a great football title. Like most EA football games.
Summary: When I initially heard that a Fifa title was being released on my beloved XBOX I was delighted, I knew I was going to get something that had a superb build quality to it. Then after my first play I was mightily disappointed, I seemed unable to head the ball and my passes always went astray of their target. Then with practice I learnt how to get my passes to go the correct player and my striker to head that wonder goal.
Summary: This is by far the worst football game I have yet played. Don't get me wrong, the graphics are superb, and the abilities of the players excellent. But on my first attempt i got to the final! Says it all. Far too easy - definitely designed for kids. Grown up kids - dont bother!
Summary: Amazing graphics and excellent game play makes this one of the best footballing games I have ever played. You just get on with it. No hassle, just get on the pitch & play. It's smooth, fun & will have you hooked in no-time! Games like this make you feel glad you bought an X-box.
Summary: As we have come to expect now from the X-Box, this game is a visual treat right from the off with a slick menu and some uncanny player models that look like their real-life counterparts (the Steve McManaman, David Beckham and Zinedine Zidane models are particularly good). Sound is good and the game runs at a cracking pace when put on Fastest mode (the normal mode is way too sluggish for me).
Summary: OK, I haven't played Pro Evolution Soccer. But I love the world cup, there is nothing else that can touch it. This game REALLY makes you feel you are IN the world cup! Extra time golden goal, penalties, last minute equaliser. Stick your XBOX through a surround system and a big TV and you will be transported halfway across the world. It really is that atmospheric. Great fun to play even in one player mode.
Summary: Fifa changes with every game, they seem to alternate between powering up shots and just tapping the button, this is a power up incarnation, which makes long shots possible which is good, but gameplay is so slow even when sprinting its still pretty slow, i swear each fifa game gets slightly slower.
Summary: Well i've been eagerly awaiting the arrival of Fifa 2002 on the XBOX, and received one day after release. This game is graphically excellent, and really captures the emotions of the world cup. Game play is natural, although it is far too eay to win the world cup after a few games, i beat argentina 8-0 twice - pity it's not going to quite like that at the real thing - and as for the game, you can start hitting reality by turning up the difficulty level on the main menu.
Summary: Ah, here we are again - the World Cup. And to get you in the mood, here we have the latest Fifa World Cup footy game. So, is it any good? Well, Yes it is actually. Graphically, it is superior to any other footy game I have played. Although there are a number of errors which you can pick up yourselves. John Motson and Andy Gray are on hand to either grate on you or inform you with their wit and knowledge. And you can actually recognise a number of the players on show.
Summary: in the past i have been unable to sit and play fifa titles because of the hopeless a.i and the sloppy looking in game graphics , but with this xbox version all the problems i have encountered with previous fifa titles seem to have gone . superb graphics, sound and really impressive gameplay all add up an xbox game all should own, especially seeing as there are'nt that many games available, in short go get this game and prepare to be impressed
