  • Excerpt: What an exciting place L.A. is. All they do there all day long is race around in customised cars, while attractive women sit in the back firing automatic weapons. The objective is clear: to prove that they are the ‘O.G.’ of that particular piece of turf. If you don’t live in L.A.

  • Summary: Now more than ever, gameplay in video games revolves around choice. Whether it’s choosing between the forces of good or evil or as simple as being a Spartan or an Elite, the freedom of choice is something that we often take for granted in modern gaming.

187 Ride or Die Review

VideoGamer.com
8 October 2005
  • Excerpt: 187 Ride or Die is clearly Ubisoft's attempt at making a game that has some street cred. Essentially a racing game with weapons, you've got your home boys, pimped out rides, guns, women and plenty of hip-hop.

  • Excerpt: 187 Ride or Die looks fantastic, making looks one of the game's few high points. In particular, the car and city models look great and show off some really nice details and sharp texture work.

  • Conclusion: I must admit even though there are a lot of dry moments with this game that just don’t seem to flow all that well together, the whole overall picture of this game is that there are some memorable and fun sequences that can occur with this game.

Blinx: The Time Sweeper

DarkStation
10 October 2002
  • Conclusion: Blinx really has some great ideas, and actually has another use for the Hard Drive besides just saving storage, and game add-ons. Blinx comes full with some great things and some really poor thing, and when the bad out weigh the good that creates poor results.

Gas, brake, honk - gas br... Woah!

  • Conclusion: Not groundbreaking by a long shot, and a bit slack for something developed by the people behind XIII and King Kong, but an interesting idea that - if it had more depth and longevity - would be tremendously gratifying. Here's hoping for a sequel with more polish.
