Summary: Just finished 4-wheel brake job on wifey's Envoy. This thing is great! Not just the lug nuts, but I had a bleeder on the rear caliper that wouldn't budge with my 3/8 drive ratchet. I thought I was going to need a new caliper so no loss if I ruined it.
Summary: Absolute garbage. I needed to get the axle nut off for my 96 Honda Accord but it wouldnt budge. The sad part is that i had already broken the nut loose a month ago with a breaker bar. I've read up on a lot of other reviews and it seems clear that the 345 ft lb torque rating is a joke.
Summary: Over all it is a good tool, a little heavier than I expected. It looks and feels very good quality. Quite powerful, I haven't had any problems with it yet. So far it worked really good on all of my lug nuts. I paid $125 for it when it was on sale, a good deal for an impact wrench this powerful.
Summary: I'm not sure why so many were unhappy with this impact. I used it today for the first time. Started by loosening the lugs and the broke free no problem. Then the prize the strut bolt that attaches to the hub assembly. All these bolts were loosened using no penetrating fluid..
Summary: Was skeptical about the functionality of this tool at first, but was really surprised by how well it performs. Obviously not as effective as an air impact, but for what it is; it's great. Not as bulky as I thought it was going to be (weighs less than 10 pounds).

Summary: In short 'RTFM'. This works great and just as you'd expect if you've use a pneumatic wrench. You have to read the manual. It builds up force on the anvil over 20-30 seconds - just as a pneumatic does.
Summary: I bought the corded impact wrench, thinking that I wouldn't have to worry about juice coming to it, that and I have always been a fan and owner of the Dewalt tools. This thing lacks power. 345lb of torque? Where?
Summary: Glad I went with this and not the weaker ones. No, it's not an air-powered wrench. Having said that I have not met a bolt it was not able to take off. The only criticism is that it's a bit big and heavy. But then again, when I want to rotate my tires it's totally worth it.
