Heavy trailer lug nuts no match for this driver...

Summary: I finally had the opportunity to give this tool a little workout. Our camper is 40 feet, with 3 axles and weighs 18K GTW.. Just before we were to leave for the motorcycle rally at Sturgis 2 weeks ago, one of the tire monitors went off signalling low tire pressure. Using a 20 ton bottle jack to begin changing the tire I brought out this impact driver to see if it would be enough to loosen the lug nuts on this axle. It performed the task with aplomb.

Summary: I am very happy with the size to power ratio but still could use some more power. Just to give you some background: I already own the big dewalt impact that is good for car wheels that haven't been overly torqued by an air gun. I'm a tow operator and the big gun served me well for hundreds of tire changes for years. Now I work on trucks and combined with a super long cage bolt socket for working on brake chambers didn't work well in tight spaces.
Summary: I've been needing a nice impact wrench because I swap wheels regularly (several times a week). I chose an electric one because I'm using it to quickly mount/dismount wheels at the track where access to an airhose is nigh on impossible unless you brought a compressor. for the TL;DR people: Pros: Breaks 90 ft/lbs lugs reliably, I haven't had it fail yet after 4 mount/dismount sessions.
Summary: Impact driver has good power. Really like the batteries and they are the main reason I purchased this tool. There was only about a $20 differential between getting 2 batteries and a charger and getting this kit.
Summary: I like this buy. Its expensive but helps cut down on auto work. Powerful for battery operated tool. Strong enough to remove wheel lugs. You need air power for heavy stuff. Nice and compact. Great quality.
Summary: These batteries are fantastic, and work with my older DeWalt drill from 1997. While they don't match up perfectly, they still lock in place, so I'm not concerned about how they look. As for the impact wrench, I've used it only four times to see what it can do, and I don't feel like I've even put a dent in its' capability. In four hours of pretty constant use, each battery performs incredibly well, and I'm overall pleased with my purchase.
