For the DIY, not for a professional mechanic necessarily.
vernoski, shop your way

Summary: Love sears tools, as for the nay sayers, if you have a problem just take it back. Professionals use Macs, Cornwell and Snap-on because they service the shops, better quality, but you pay more, but as someone that worked in a shop you cannot run out to sears each time you need a tool You get what you pay for here! Don't buy a Hyundai then complain because it doesn't ride like a Lexus.
Summary: This set is still the beautiful quality we have all come to expect from Craftsman raised panel wrenches over the years. As of today (6/1/13) this set is still made in USA. ALWAYS check to make sure they are made in USA, some of the sets sold in the stores are not, there IS a difference in quality.
Summary: I bought two of these sets and they are the greatest wrenches for ascending order of tools you can buy from Craftsman. All of them as I said are made in the United States of America. The finish was perfect, and NO imperfections at all. I have used these sets with cheater bars and they do not bend or break like the cheap chinese counter-parts. If you want a wrench set that you can pass down and be proud of, it is this one.
Summary: Just picked them up, still USA made as of today, 2/1/2013. As others have mentioned they could be a little better on the finish, and some of the edges should have been knocked down prior to plating but they remain an excellent value.
