Summary: I've spent days trying to get it to work. It worked for awhile, but then disconnected. I thought it would be plugNplay, but I'm about to toss it into the heap of other networking hardware that failed to live up to it's reputation and specifications.
Summary: I'm gonna do more research before purchase another replacement.
Pros: Was reliable until it failed.
Cons: I basically use it as an access point. I own 3 of these and this one just failed within 5 months of owning and an older version failed after a year and it while the other is still running strong with fast ups and downs. This one that failed has drastic reduction of speeds.
Excerpt: Unbelievably vacant instructions. Say just log on. But it would not log on. Then try to find support. When I eventually found the support link, I emailed my information and now continue to wait for a reply. So, I cannot tell you whether it works or not because it cannot be hooked up.
Summary: This is a horrible piece of equipment and is impossible to set up. It provided you with a set up CD which only worked to an extent. You have to really know what you're doing when it comes to computers. This is not for people that do not know their way around a computer. DO NOT PURCHASE.
Summary: If you decide that this product is what you want then as soon as you connect it phone Technical support at 1(800)255-4101 option#5 because it doesn't work as advertised. Tried it on Win 7 Pro then 7 Home then XP (I have several computers in my home network).....it is not PNP !
Cons: This is not a good extender at all. I've been using it for a week now I had to reset it several time. It lost the configuration without reason. Besides it doesn't extend the wireless more than the router I have. It doesn't worth the money
Summary: Easy to set up? What a joke. The quick start guide is impossible to read. It makes it a little confusing when you print it in every language in the world. The user guide is doubly impossible. Is this really written for consumers?
