Works great!

W1ll1am, Amazon
  • Summary: I am using these between my cable modem and my router/firewall. By doing that I don't lose any local network speeds, and my current internet is only 30Mbps down so these adapters can handle full speed. I also didn't see any added latency by using these.

and my cable modem and router are pretty far from the front of the building

Andrew Park, Amazon
29 May 2015
  • Summary: I live in an apartment with concrete interior walls, and my cable modem and router are pretty far from the front of the building. I have tried using a wifi amp in an attempt to boost the signal, but it didn't really work that well. After seeing a review on boing boing, I decided to check this out.

Works great!

,, TigerDirect.com

  • Summary: Like their literature states, don't plug them into a power strip. They will not work. Once you spend about 5 minutes on that, and move them, they work like champs. Using mine to run vitrual call center with computer and VoIP phone.

  • Summary: Well, the first one I bought, I didn't really know the box only came with one, so, a few weeks ago I got this promotion offer and got it on a good discount. Anyway, I got the new box with 2 adapters, plugged one in, then I plugged the second one to a Mac Desktop computer that was lying around in a...

Works Well - Stream Netflix to remote location

PDX Bud, TigerDirect.com
24 March 2015
  • Summary: Like others, The WiFi signal was blocked by walls and I didn't want to run a CAT5 cable to the remote location. NOTE: You will probably need to plug it to an outlet directly - the power strips degrade the signal so much the unit becomes unusable (It says this in the installation instructions).

Great alternative to running wire

JMG,, TigerDirect.com
13 March 2015
  • Summary: I purchased these adapters to be used with a 410AP Kit and they worked seemlessly. I have a Smart TV with wireless but works better plugging an adapter into the power plug behind it and using a cable.

Reliable solution

Mohammad A., Newegg
8 March 2015
  • Summary: I got this to connect to a PC that sits roughly 15 feet away from the router but did not want to have a LAN cable running across the floor. Having 2 power outlets, one next to the PC and the other next to the Router had me give it a try and I am glad I did.
  • Pros: Plug it in and it works, no need for drivers or any silly tools, included cables are not super short.
  • Cons: Gets warm, makes a faint buzzing noise.
