Too Easy

Michael C., Newegg
15 February 2014
  • Summary: This thing is awesome. I paired it with another trendnet TPL-401E and it worked like a champ. Just plug it in and away it goes. Way to easy. Fast speeds, low latency, and just works.
  • Pros: Ease of use, cost, 4 ports, plug-n-play
  • Cons: None

Excellent

Amazon Customer, Amazon
24 February 2013
  • Summary: Love Trendnet. The adapter just needs to be plugged into an outlet (directly - NOT into extension cable) and voila - you have wired internet. Superfast and works fantastic in all three levels of my 2600 sqft house.

Stuart D. Lum, Amazon
8 February 2013
  • Summary: I have struggled with other solutions (wireless signal repeaters, strategically placed wireless access points) and this was the last attempt before crawling under the house and wiring rooms up to 100 feet away.

Ideal way to get internet connectivity around the house

J. Beane, Amazon
28 December 2012
  • Summary: I have several Directiv units using these adapters to connect to the internet for downloading content. They are simple and effective. I have been using them about two months without any problems whatsoever. I had more trouble getting internet to my house than I've had getting throughout my house..

powerlined to the max

kevin j., Newegg
7 October 2012
  • Summary: the 200 mbs worked well for streaming video so I don't notice a big performance gain with the 500mbs.
  • Pros: works well with plenty of ports. I have a combination of these and the 200mbs 3 port adapters scattered around the house. all work well togther. the extra ports make it easy to connect multiple devices and pc's. I have 3 pc's, 2 blu-ray players, 2 routers and a nas server networked together at home.
  • Cons: kind of a pain to reset if you have connection issues. the reset hole is tiny and just a pain to reset pluged in the outlet below my knees. (maybe i'm just old).
