Yep it works

Robbie A. Bledsoe "Robbie A. Bledsoe", Amazon
16 September 2013
  • Summary: I have a 25mb dsl line and the router is upstairs in my house. My PS3 is downstairs and via wifi I normally get download speed ~5mb and upload of 700k. Hooked this up and it basically doubled my d/l speed to about 9.7mb. Gave it 4 stars only because I am selfish. I can go to speedtest.net on my computer upstairs and I get ~25mb d/l speed connect and via wifi. While I never have gotten over 15mbps on my PS3, my computer downstairs has given me the 25mb d/l via wifi.

Works Perfectly

Graeme Boddy, Amazon
13 May 2013
  • Summary: After multiple attempts to synch, i resorted to reading the instruction manual... DOH! After I did what it said, I synched up immediately and all is well - I was running around 120Mbps. All four devices (BD Player, Apple TV, SMART TV and AV AMP) all work fine, and now I get no lag at all for Netflix or Amazon. The only reason for the dropped star, is that I cannot get more than 120Mbps no matter what I try or which power sockets I plug into.

Not as advertised. You'll never get that speed.

  • Summary: So what they never tell you about this product, not anywhere that I could find at least, is that the more things plugged into that circuit around your home (not just more network adapters, just anything period), the worse the performance. I had to go around my home unplugging everything that wasn't absolutely necessary to get this thing to 198Mbps. With everything in my home left as normal, I get between 95Mbps - 130Mbps.

Ideal way to get internet connectivity around the house

J. Beane, Amazon
28 December 2012
  • Summary: I have several Directiv units using these adapters to connect to the internet for downloading content. They are simple and effective. I have been using them about two months without any problems whatsoever. I had more trouble getting internet to my house than I've had getting throughout my house.. Follow up: With just under a year of use the single unit feeding the internet into the powerline failed and this 4 plug unit is losing connectivity more frequently.

Solid Connection, Easy Install

Roy, Amazon
18 December 2012
  • Summary: I purchased this along with a TPL-402E2K. I had issues with one of the TPL-402E's but got resolved through TRENDnet. This adapter installed in seconds - less time than opening the package. It's a solid items that delivers. I totally recommend. I may get one of the wireless units that allows me to plug one item in wired while providing access point... All interactions with TRENDnet were excellent.

Be Careful

Southone, Amazon
18 October 2012
  • Summary: I purchased this product thinking it included both transmitter and receiver as do all their products. The description did not say just receiver included so I feel deceived but I could have been smarter. Do not purchase this product by itself, worthless. Had i known that I had to spend another $70 to get a receiver, I would not have purchased as first item.

Struggled to get them connected.

Oldgeek, Amazon
16 October 2012
  • Summary: It took some time before being able to connect devices. All technical support comes from overseas and many of the staff were poorly trained. After all the units I purchased were programmed correctly, they worked fine. They need to improve the manual.
