Pros: Works great. Had a computer in a steel building that was too far away from everything to run a network cable, was constantly dropping the wifi connection with the standard antenna. Popped this guy on there and its been rock solid since. 4' of cable is good for getting it up in the air, and the base has a magnet so you can stick it to stuff. The antenna has a pivot point on the base so you can rotate it around too if you need to position it differently.
Pros: Comes with about a 4' wire so you can the antenna away from the back of the computer. My computer is in a cabinet and my wireless router is upstairs. I wasn't getting very good reception because the computer case was shielding the small network cards antenna.
Pros: Connected to my Linksys WRT54G3G-ST Sprint 3G router to boost the signal and it works great. The base is sturdy and I do not worry that it will fall when the cat walks by. Signal strength is much better.
Cons: It does not cut through interference. You can hear the antenna rattle around inside the plastic housing.
