Summary: When I first fired it up, the LAN light only blinked once when I plugged in the supplied RJ46 cable. Then I found out that if I pressed in hard on it while I plugged it in, the light started working, a little. I plugged in an old RJ45 cable and the LAN light came on full time.
Summary: I had to pay a technician to come and configure it to the lap top which took him over 40 minutes so has worked out very expensive . But once this done it works well and has a strong signal. Perhaps is not recommended for use in Australia.
Summary: I bought this to use with my iPad, but had to get rid of it after several problems. First, with the most recent version of the firmware I could find, the iPad simply couldn't connect to this router if any type of encryption was used. Apple's fault or TrendNets? Doesn't matter, just doesn't work.
