Good router, terrible configuration issue for Mac users

Summary: Instructions are given for PC users only. Configuring the router to change its idiotically insecure administration login does not work via Safari or Chrome on a Mac. Hey, but if your neighbor has a Windows machine with IE6, the modem will happily let them log in to your router and mess with its innards. Fortunately, I have a PC that I can borrow to log in to the router and change the password. If you are a PC user, this is probably a 5 star product.
Summary: I attempted to use this device as an Ethernet-to-Wireless bridge. When using this on a Windows XP box, I had problems due to browser incompatibilities with the device's setup pages. When it says that it requires IE6 specifically, they're not kidding. Attempting to use a modern browser results in buttons and text that is out of place or simply missing. This is absolutely inexcusable. However, I was able to get the device to work under a Windows machine.
Summary: I bought this router a year ago, after feeling the need for such a product while travelling. I was happy with it, and it worked well the few times I used it. But after some time, it started working only after being turned on for a few minutes and on my last trip, after turning it off one night, never worked properly again. As such, I can't recommend it as its reliability seems not to be the best.
Summary: My two star rating is not for the item but for the other reviews all of which lack crucial information on what devices can be used with it, is it just pc and laptops or can it be used with ipods and ipads? whether a separate usb dongle is needed or does it take a sim card, if so is it compatible with any network anywhere in the world, etc., etc. These information would be very helpful to people who are looking to purchase this and other similar items for the first time.
