Summing up the results of today’s tests, I should say the TEW-633GR router is overall good, yet it proved to be inferior to its opponent, the DIR-655, in terms of speed. A strong aspect of the TEW-633GR is that it can support a large number of logical network connections simultaneously. This is a decent router, with a good software package. But before you can get to the software, you've got to get past the frustrating installation wizard. While it does "n" only in the 2.4-GHz band, performance is adequate, and it's available at a good price, considering all the features it offers. Read more

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE THE INSTALLATION CD-ROM. It will cause your computer to become unstable with BSOD (blue screen of death) and you'll have to reformat your hard drive to fix it. You'll find the router at 192.168.10.1 and from there you can connect and configure it. Read more
Like in our TRENDnet TEW-631BRP review, we are using the same .iso file that we have used in all of our other transfer speed tests. This file is a Windows XP Pro image of my original install disk. Using the TRENDnet TEW-621PC wireless N PCMCIA adapter, we used our test machines to get to the numbers that we are trying to get. Read more
