Pros: As long as you plug in the adapter first then go to System properties then Device manager and update the driver from the disc it works. Do not load the software off the disc first then try to use it because it will not work. This is with windows 7 64bit...im not sure about the other operating sys...
Cons: Software did not work for me at all from the disc or the website.
Summary: This plug in would absolutely not attach to any router myself or my friends owned that operated in the "N only" 5ghz frequency. It gets three stars for the fact it actually functions on a wifi network, it's low cost, and it's low profile....but that's it.
Summary: Picked it because my wife's laptop's wireless died. This worked, until she broke it by leaving it on when she packed it, but often was a pain to get connected. It often wouldn't connect to WIFI that were saved as profiles. Not sure if it was a hardware or software problem.
Summary: This thing might work great. I'll never know, because it is not, as the listing explicitly states, Mac compatible. The nice people at Trendnet tell me that the following models are: TEW-648UB TEW-649UB I'll try one of those instead!
Summary: The blue one does not support Windows 7. They sent me a black one which supports 2000/XP, Vista, as well as Windows 7. But the driver for Windows 7 is not included in the CD and has to be downloaded from the trendnet website. Here are the steps for setup: 1.
