Locks up your computer. Incompatible with Windows or Ubuntu.

S. Shipp "Walking Head", Amazon
5 October 2012
  • Summary: I tried this card with Ubuntu and Windows XP SP3. Both have the same issue. The system will begin cycling, attempting to connect to your wireless network over and over, even after it has been connected awhile. This will cause your system to lock up and freeze for 2-10 seconds periodically.

wireless adapter

rollon43 "Ernie", Amazon

  • Summary: This is a good adapter for an old computer. If you use it everyday it will connect right away. If you don`t use it everyday you have to hit the repair button and it fixes it right away.I gave it a five because it works really good.I would buy another if this one went out.

Terrible signal quality

carlivar, Amazon
4 May 2011
  • Summary: I bought this card for two reasons: 1. It supposedly has excellent Linux support, at least as of Ubuntu 10.10. 2. I was using a tiny little USB wifi adapter through 1 story of my house and a couple walls. I thought I could increase my network performance.

10 Months Later, Beginning to Break Down

Pete, Amazon
13 January 2011
  • Summary: I believe to truly review a product, the purchaser needs to use it for at least 6 months. I am writing this review at the 10 month mark. This product was never really great to begin with. This card can not handle continuous wifi signals. It breaks it down into chunks.
