Summary: I like the core feature of this product. it's fast and does what I need it to do. it is a lot faster and more stable then just using wifi, and save some headache if connecting with network cable. because my router is in the living room. just a couple of concerns: 1.
Summary: It took me more than half an hour to setup this to connect my existing network with the TL-PA211s. At first, the client asks me to setup the IP addresses myself, plus the gateway, plus the DNS servers. It could be because it created its own network instead of joining the existing one.
Summary: These work great and the wireless transmitter has decent range, but the one drawback is that it creates a separate wireless network from the one already in your house. This is minor if you're not moving around while connected, since most devices automatically connect to the strongest signal, but it...
Summary: Great networking devices by TP-Link, but this one is only a good device because of the installation. The instructions for pairing a 3rd device are not overly clear and the softward for setting the wireless security is provided on a mini-cd - useless if you dont have a compatable drive.
Summary: Has seemingly worked fine for me. Router upstairs front of house. Power line wireless is downstairs back of house. Prior was getting spotty wireless signal. Now everything is strong and never drops. Blu ray, Xbox, wii, and computer have no problem getting a strong signal. Easy to set up
Summary: Literally took 3 minutes to set this up and get rolling. Just ordered additional adapters. One thing to keep an eye on is fluctuations of lighting (especially if on dimmers). Not sure if this affects the occasional dimming of lights or if it is something else in my house.
Summary: Just works as advertised, very easy installation even before reading user manual. I didn't give 5 stars just because I found the TL-WPA281 Wi-Fi range not so good, but still probably I'll buy more TL-WPA281 units to extend the wifi in my house.
Summary: Works well and fairly flawlessly with my other Netgear brand Powerline Adapters and it provides a decent signal at the other end of the house for wifi however I have found that at least once my wifi stuff stops connecting with it and it needs to be unplugged and plugged back in to reset it.
