Excerpt: Purchased this Wifi adapter from Tp Link after the previous adapter from Rosewill failed and crashed my operating system via PCI-E slot, the installation went seamlessly and the signal strength is greater than the previous adapter, very happy with the Tl-WN951N and would recommend it to anyone needing a reliable and strong wifi connection.

Excerpt: Adorama shipped quickly. Installed on Windows 7 Professional per instructions. Control Panel recognized TL-WN951N adapter, and said it was enabled and working properly. Windows "Wireless Network Connection", however, said "No Connections Available." I called TP-Link tech support. She acted as though she did not want to talk to me but said I need to disable my anti-virus, and hung up. I tried that, It did not work.
Pros: Fast Connection Speed, Reliable connection, Secure Connection
Cons: Difficult To Set Up, For Me Not Plug And Play, For Me Not Plug N Play, Very Poor Tech Support
Summary: In initially installed this in an old XP computer (AMD X2 4600+, Nforce 3 chipset (Giga-byte GA-k8NS ultra 939). Throughput and range is very good and can go up to 300 Mbps on 2 channels. However, the XP driver has problems with resuming from sleep or hibernate. The CPU load shows 50% on resume and only way to fix it is to enable and disable the driver. I swapped this card with a D-Link DWA-552 from my windows 8 computer.
Pros: Works extremely well with Windows 8, excellent throughput
Cons: Causes high CPU load (50%) in XP computer after it resumes from standby or hibernation
Excerpt: Easy to install on XPSP3. Fast transfer speeds. Total install took about 10 minutes. Would be nice if it was dual band. Oh, well. I did not find their network app to be any better than windows, so I deleted it.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Fast, Fast Connection Speed, Reliable connection
