Summary: Its easy to set up and works pretty good. I was a bit disappointed with the range, but the other router got me to the outside walls of the house and this gets me to the deck so I can use my laptop (without bothering with a LAN cable) and listen to internet radio.
It is an useful and affordable wifi range extender

Summary: I had trouble to make it work in the beginning and was thinking to return it. However, after I fondled it a little and repositioned it close to the router, it seemed working alright, but I noticed that the overall speed is somehow lower. This is still a good buy.
Summary: This unit has done its job and extended the range on the other side of the house where a brick wall was decreasing the signal. The only downfall is that it seems that I have to reboot it every couple days, other than that, strong coverage.
Summary: when i travel we have no signal at all if any on the ocean resort where we stay; this was a godsend once we figured out how to set it up; it took a while to find the "hot spot" to grab what signal we could and once we did we were good to go; 5 bars of signal!!!
Summary: Worked ok with stock firmware, rock-solid with OpenWRT. Has been running OpenWRT for months now without me even looking at it. Didn't try the WebUI for OpenWRT as this unit has very little storage. If you're not comfortable with command line setup you may want to stick with the stock firmware.
Summary: Works as expected. I use two of these along with two of the TL-WA850s to create setup a temporary wireless network for a sporting event that I host. It's important that you bridge these correctly if you are using more than one.
