Working well as expected

Dean E., Newegg
30 November 2014
  • Pros: These thngs were a breeze to configure. They worked flawlessly on POE, even though you must use the passive adapters, it is still great way to place remote AP's. There were put into a small Drs office environment and they love them. The VLAN aspect is great and it is fast. Perfect.
  • Cons: Passive POE, but not a deal breaker

Works just how I wanted

Ronak Patel, Amazon
23 October 2014
  • Summary: Our house isn't huge (1700 sqft), but it's very vertical with 3 levels. The office is on the top floor with the living room on the bottom floor on the opposite side - basically about as far as you can get. The wifi signal in the living room wasn't terrible, but it's not great either.

  • Summary: I really like the router. Signal is strong throughout the house, about 2,400 sf. Setting up is a brief. The price is just right. You can't beat this price with this great product. I highly recommend it!!!

Powerful Device, Works as Advertised.

Vincent M., Newegg
14 February 2014
  • Summary: Around 8 months ago, I bought 5 of these for my 100 year old all concrete and brick church building. The building is fairly large with its three floors and 2 sections. These devices cover the entire church well, to be safe I purchased (10) 10dbi gain antennas to boost the power some.
  • Pros: Fairly easy set up, Small and stylish, works well. POE is a major plus.
  • Cons: No way to mount on bottom, Indication lights on front are a little confusing, Needs firmware update right out of the box if more than one is being installed on the same network.

Eric H., Newegg
27 January 2014
  • Summary: it works ok for what i do but i do some fast switching and somethimes it will lock up. do not know if it is pc or switch. I went away from ps conn so this is what i got. i run 2 older win xp machines.
  • Pros: Well uses vga and usb keyboard and mouse
  • Cons: seems to lock up once and a while, and video seems to go crazy once and a while. NOT A PRODUCT FAULT but the dang windows dinging and having to reconize it all over again once you switch back and forth. Also pc wont boot up (locks on no keyboard) when you power up.

two out of three units died-but re-flashed firmware to correct

L. Cioccio, Amazon
12 January 2014
  • Summary: We had purchase one earlier and had success. We ordered two more to communicate with our church rectory and school. Both died within days with the same symptoms; would stop communicating by hard wire as wireless would work.
