  • Summary: Spec's said that it would send data 300 meters (~984 feet), it won't. It barely sent data 125 meters and that took a very long time. The unit did work fine for up to 25 meters.

Best gigabit powerline adapters!

LLNunez, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: So easy to setup, even a cavemen could do it! : ) No really, these adapters are very easy to setup and reliable. I use it to get an ethernet connection from my router downstairs to a computer upstairs. No loss of bandwidth at all! Make sure to review small instructions booklet to get them setup (very easy). Would buy again for sure if needed!
  • Pros: Compact, Easily Expanded, Easy To Set Up

Fast, easy to set up, reliable, and compact

  • Summary: This is an excellent product! We had another ZyXEL Powerline adapter kit that was a bit flaky and bit the bullet after about six months. These adapters are so much better. They look nice and have a more compact design than pretty much any other adapter I researched. They don't have a passthrough outlet, but that isn't a big deal because they don't block the second outlet. They are fast, and I've never had them disconnect.

If I could give 10 stars I would, wow is this an awesome product!

J. Sacco, Amazon

  • Summary: Wow! I couldn't be happier or more satisfied. This brought very reliable and fast networking to the far end of a 5000 sq. ft. house for under $100! My biggest concern before I purchased - would this work across an electrical network in our house that featured a large main panel and two sub panels? My research had led me to believe that it might pose a problem.

Sub par for me :/

Chris M., Amazon

  • Summary: I have always had trouble getting a good WiFi signal where I have my game console and computer set up so I thought this would be a great solution to that. Well I was right to some degree... I have a nice stable connection that doesn't drop unless out service provider is having technical difficulties, but I'm only able to get HALF the speed, (at best), that I get with just using WiFi!

This is a nice, fast network

  • Summary: This is a nice, fast network. My college-age daughter moved back home for the last two years of college, and she wanted a TV set up in her room. I'm on DirectTV, out in the boondocks where you can't get wires or any significant OTV television. I have a "Genie" system -- one main DVR that acts as a media server, with tiny client devices for additional rooms.

Freaking awesome. After spending an embarrassing amount of time trying ...

  • Summary: Freaking awesome. After spending an embarrassing amount of time trying to stream shows, having the feed cut off (because our smart tv was too far from the router/wi-fi for a reliable, steady connection, we finally had enough. Every time it cut out, we had to reset the streaming feed, and it was just lame and, as I said, kind of embarrassing how many times during a show we would have to go through this ridiculous routine. Finally broke down and ordered these. Dude!

Great way extend/connect internet without running ethernet cables

K. Young, Amazon
6 October 2014
  • Summary: Purchased this to solve the problem of being able to place my wi-fi router and modem in the living room, while utilizing my home's "smart box" panel in the laundry room without having to fish ethernet cables in the wall and climb into the attic during a Phoenix summer. Like the instructions (and others here) say, do not plug these into a surge protector. Rather, plug the units direct into the electrical socket.
