Summary: Based on the reviews, I know the product works, just not for my home. I live in a newer home and most of the outlets in the house are GFI based on building codes. After contacting support due to poor performance, I found the following info on their website: http://www.tp-link.us/faq-901.html...
Summary: Before I got this, I was excited about the potential. I have a basement plus 2 floors. My router and modem are in the basement, while I work from my second floor study(which is probably 50-75ft max from the router).
Its ok in the same room, very slow in separate rooms

Summary: It is a good product, but it does not make miracles. The longest the distance between the 2 adapters, the slower the speed. If the adapter has to "travel" to the electrical switch box, then the speed will be really slow.
Summary: First the good Setup is easy, plug in one, plug in the other and push the button on the first and then the second. It syncs quickly and to add more, repeat. For the most part they are reliable, only occasionally have I had to unplug and I'm not 100% sure if it was this things fault or not.
Summary: I bought these to avoid running cables through my apartment, which has an extremely inconveniently located coax port. They definitely work at a basic level. I have three main complaints about them: 1. I was unable to achieve a high quality signal between them.

Summary: I mistakenly thought that this TP-LINK TL-PA511 KIT AV500 Powerline Gigabit Adapter Starter Kit, had wireless capabilities. But I was wrong, so I returned it. Based on all of the high ratings which have seen for this brand, I purchased the TP-Link TL WPA 4220 Wireless WyFY Adapter Kit from another...
Summary: It comes with 2 CAT5 cables. I have a gigabit network at home and I routinely transfer files between my computers at 100 MB/s (800 mbps). The one place I am missing such speed is the 2nd floor where the bedrooms are, and I was hoping that I could fix that problem with this device without having to...
Summary: Replacing wireless connections w/ poor signal. Currently not sure whether this is an improvement or not. Not sure if this is normal, if I've got a bum adapter(s), or if there's an issue w/ units going into power saving mode.
Pros: 2 kits, 4 adapters Worked right out of the box exactly as stated in instructions.
Cons: Worked pretty good until they didn't. After a few days the units lost connections. Wouldn't reconnect by simply using the pair button on the bottom of the units. Had to unplug units and start over. Currently working, but well below 500mps - more like 50 according to the utility software provided.
Summary: I have never read a review about anyone testing more then 2 of these and I bought 2 kits to use in 4 rooms of this house. I can say that everything works, no problems talking to each other and (I don't think) there are any speed hits going over two.
Pros: They are very quick to setup, push one button and go. Works with 2+ devices just as easy.
Cons: Nowheres NEAR the 500Mbps these are advertisted as, the absolute highest I have ever gotten is 8M/s (64Mbps). This is a 2 year old house and from what I have read this is the absolute best case scenario to expect. With all the false advertising that are surrounding products these days this one ha...
