As good as TRENDnet & perfect for connecting a wifi extender to outdoor antenna - created an RV network
15 April 2014
Summary: I used this cable to connect an Amped Wireless Wifi Extender REC15A to a Engenius Outdoor High Gain 8dBi Omni Antenna to create an "in-trailer" network in my RV. The wifi extender definitely was able to pick up a much better signal than my computer could pull in. In my particular test with the Engenius antenna added it boosted the signal that the Amped Extender picked up (with its regular 2dBi antenna) from 59% to 77%.
Summary: I used this cable to convert from the RP-SMA connector on my amplifier for my BROABAND HAMNET to the N connector on the antenna cable. It works good and makes a smooth interconnect to a larger N connector cable without straining the more delicate RP-SMA connection on the amplifier.
Summary: Although its a litle short its very well built, there is a longer one I should have gotten, but oh well. just look extremely close at the connectors and make sure this has the right ones...and dont crank the connectors down with pliers..some guys call the connectors "male" and "female" and they argue about it, so dont listen just look..forget that male n female crap.
