Summary: It didn't take much time to put together. 4 stars because the female prong was offset and I am not 100% certain the coupling is occurring of the male adapter. However the performance is on par with a 20 dBi directional antenna, so all is well.
Summary: I really love this item. Works like a charm. I am in a very forested area and I can occasionally pickup other signals. But as I said, I am in a very forested area. Nearest neighbor is 1/4th mile away.
I will follow up once installed - (update) It's big and it works :-)

Summary: package arrived on time and in good order. all parts included. I will post follow up once installed. waiting for cable and network adapter to arrive. 1-13-13 update: Cable and adapter arrived - Yesterday I installed Tp link 2.4g antenna to one post of Amped wireless range extender 10000. I now enjoy local WIFI throught the house. I plan to install outside but for now - in my kitchen with tree's and building obstructions, pointing in general direction of source.
Cons: Does not seem to have better signal pick up than my old 15 db panel antenna despite being way way more directional and 5 times the size. Played with aiming a lot, even messed with tilt (this thing is polarized) but it never got a higher strength signal that what I had already. Be aware it you want to try it out that you loose fully half of the signal strength if you are five degrees off target. Drop off from there is very fast.
Summary: Did I note that this antenna is BIG? I have been goofing with this indoors on single antenna G card on a PC, (7 degrees F and 20 Mph wind, not for me), and have no trouble receiving my router signal in any orientation. Assembly was easy, just carefully examine reflectors! The tabs interlock in opposite orientations from one to the next, makes for a sturdy assembly. I can't wait test this in a more open area!
Pros: BIG - Sturdy feed cable, not as directional as I thought it would be for near by devices. Price is not too bad.
