Great product

  • Summary: The TP-Link TL-ANT2409A doubled the signal from the router my office in my garage to my home from 2 bars signal strength to 4 strong bars after I installed it. Now my laptop is much faster than before and made an unusable computer in the house a joy to operate. I highjly recomend this product to anyone having wireless signal issues!!

Fantastic Ant For The Money

Dale, TigerDirect.com
1 February 2010
  • Summary: I design and install wireless networks and this is one of the best ant.s I have used for anywhere near price of this unit. Using a very low end 20 dollar routher distance was 95% at nearly 150 feet and with a high end N router, we seen 99 on signal and 93-96% on quality out to 400 feet easy.

It's an antenna....no issues with connecting it!!

  • Summary: Had to expand our wireless signal at the cottage. Used an open source router and a higher txpower with this antenna. WOW....I thought I'd loose the omni-directionality of the whip with the more-focused beam of this antenna. NOPE, take a look at the antenna beam pattern they provide and you'll see you still get some good side/back lobes that will probably help you out when you want to surf from the dock!!

  • Summary: I bought two of these so as to send internet from my business/office to my house next door .... clear line of sight distance of about 1000'. I use it in conjuntion with TP-link WR941ND wireless router at the office & Engenius EUB-362 wireless adapter at the house. Once the antennas were mounted and aimed at each other, the whole thing worked perfectly ....excellent signal all the time!

  • Summary: All I have to say is that TP-Link make great products. I needed to get a wireless signal into the basement of a building 70 feet away. After installing this antenna, signal went from 0% to 100% It works great.

  • Summary: We bought one of these to connect to another building at work. I was playing around with it before we set it up, and I was very impressed with the range. My iPhone could pick up a signal from it for several hundred yards, of course I couldn't transmit back to it from that distance. If you have two of these, you can easily expect a range of at least 300 yards. It works great paired up with an inexpensive TP-Link router.

  • Summary: I bought 2 of these with a couple of cheap Trendnet refurbished wireless bridges to connect 2 buildings about 150m apart. Once the antennas were pointed at each other there was a good solid connection between the bridges. One thing to be aware of is to keep these antennas well away from other computer equipment, especially wireless mice. There is some scatter from the back of the antenna and it WILL interfere with mouse operation.

Works as advertised

  • Summary: Gives a very focused signal, works great in that regard. Could use a mounting bracket that doesn't need to be screwed into something, but just sat on a desk or whathave you.
