  • Summary: this antenna does what its suppose to, its a cheap way to boost your signal around the house, i would recommend it to others, only concern would be is its much longer than the factory antenna's so it might get in the way if your router is on a desk or shelf
  • Pros: good price, easy to install, boost signal
  • Cons: very long antenna compared to stock antenna's

Worked as expected

Clinton B., Newegg
29 March 2014
  • Pros: Extremely easy to install. Packaging was done right. No blister pack garbage that rips your hands apart. Immediate increase in signal strength from my ASUS RT-N16 router and provided just the boost that I needed for my upstairs D-Link DIR-615 running DD-WRT to act as a proper repeater
  • Cons: The only con is the base price. I got these on sale for $7.99 a piece. Seeing as my ASUS RT-N16 needs 3 of them, buying them at the base price of $19.99 would be quite expensive. At $7.99 they are a great deal.

Worked for me.

Randolph D., Newegg
28 January 2014
  • Summary: Makes the router look like a professional piece of equipment. A good thing.
  • Pros: They actually worked for me. Now I can watch YouTube videos without the hassles of frequent cutoffs in my room.
  • Cons: One of them doesn't stay completely vertical at 90 degrees. Aesthetic issue.

18 January 2014
  • Summary: Make sure to replace all your antennas. ( I had to replace all three on my wireless card)
  • Pros: The antennas improved my connection strength vastly. I can now pick signals from all of my neighbors . much higher throughput.
  • Cons: these antennas are large (If that is an issue for you)

  • Summary: I'm an IT consultant (25 years now). I installed this on my mom’s wireless USB NIC. Before swapping out the antenna she would only get 1 or 2 bars and connect at 5 Mbps. After putting on this antenna she would get all 5 bars and connected at 54 Mbps.

Excellent Product

Jeffrey M., Newegg
8 July 2013
  • Pros: I purchased two of these antennas so that I could upgrade my router and it greatly improved the range and speed of my old router. Remember you have to change out ALL of the antennas on a router to reap the benefit of these higher gain antennas
  • Cons: Large, but I knew that when I purchased them.
