Summary: My current living conditions doesn't allow me to use wired connections thus I have to use wireless-n. With router upstairs where the landlord lives, placed on the floor between shelves (essentially in the worst place possible)... Me living in the basement means with my cheapo Trendnet adaptor I get signal strength of about 10%... which means slow speed and constant dropped connections.
Pros: -Made unusable wifi to usable
Cons: -Buying 2 of these does seem kind of expensive in addition to wifi adaptor
Summary: Got this to boost the signal for the TP Link N wireless 3 antennas PCI card, since the computer is 100 fts+ away from the router, and it is in 2nd floor. After plugged this in and the signal immediately improved from 1 bar to 3 bars. So far it is working good to, worth to pay 20 bucks for it, but it can be slightly cheaper...
