  • Excerpt: Product was used to expand range of combo router. It expanded the range about 10% under difficult conditions. I replaced the two of original antennas on an ASUs 802.11 ac class router.
  • Pros: Attractive Design, Easy Magnetic Mounting, Fast Setup, Improves Wifi Range
  • Cons: Not A High Powered Amplif

  • Summary: I went out and purchased one of these after seeing the stellar reviews on NCIX. I was beyond fed up with my tad bit faster than dial-up speeds via my wireless in my office. I just moved to this new place, and the internet is included... however I do not have access to the router.
  • Pros: I can actually use the internet in my office! Super affordable.
  • Cons: None.

  • Summary: Best purchase I've ever made on this site. Signal in hard to cove areas went from -80 to -30. Now there's no more loss of connection when I want Wi-Fi access!
  • Pros: Works, Cheap
  • Cons: Need a router/ap with ability to attach the antenna.

  • Summary: Solid antenna. I attached the antenna to my router and used the bases for my PC network card to improve the locations of the antenna. Was getting low signal quality at the second floor of my house - router on the first floor. The signal quality was around 60%.
  • Pros: Easy setup, well built, sturdy base, strong magnetic base
  • Cons: none

Good as an extension cord, not sig gain

  • Excerpt: This works better as an extension cord for your antenna. The base is very solid, with a powerful magnet. No signal gain using the provided antenna. I'm just using as an extension and replaced with my current antenna (higher dbi).
  • Pros: Attractive Design, Solid base
  • Cons: No signal gain

  • Summary: I bought this item as a last ditch attempt before hard wiring my house for ethernet. My AppleTV2 is only about 25ft away from my standard SMC router/modem and it was so slow, I couldn't even stream music. It would drop a connection merely trying to browse through folders on XBMC.
  • Pros: Turns a useless wireless connection into a high speed access
  • Cons: Looks goofy, Hooked on high performing wireless stuff is expensive!, I want to buy a higher speed wireless router, Works so well, I would almost opt for the higher gain antenna
