Summary: I was unable to measure any difference in the signal strength with this thing. And to top it off, the plastic on the base where the moving parts are was cheap and just kind of disintegrated or fell apart after a short while. Meaning I could not longer stand it up / adjust it's angle. Would never buy from again.
Highly recommended, significant signal improvement.

Summary: Significant improvement in WiFi signal. Router is in the corner of the house, so the 90 degree (ish) pattern was perfect for my application. The livingroom (opposite corner) has historically had poor coverage, marginal signal with frequent drops. There is some ductwork and the main electrical panel in between. We now have a very decent usable signal there. The signal bars are completely full in the rest of the house, all the way to the other corners.
Summary: To get the max benefit, one has to point this antenna right at the source. Fine tuning is cumbersome since it is large and the brace offers limited adjustment flexibility. Also, since it is outdoors, going in and out to make each adjustment is much work. Unless fine tuned to exact point, I found the signal strength equal to my alfa indoor antenna.
Summary: I am very happy with the TP-Link antenna. I am using this antenna with the Alfa AWUS036NHR adapter and the Alfa R36. My wifi source is about 1 mile away and I get solid reception where I can browse the internet quickly and watch netflix on all my devices. If I really wanted to improve my setup and lose less signal, I could get high quality, expensive LMR-400 cable and shorten my 33 feet of cable. However, I am very happy with my wifi and don't need to do that.
Summary: I have a difficult point to point link of 4.5 miles through some ground clutter (read about fresnel zones if you are having trouble with a link). Increasing height was not an option so I needed to improve the gain either through the antenna or power of the transmitter. I tried higher power with a different radio on my current antenna (17 dbi flat panel). The improvement was minor.
Summary: My wifi connection would hover around a pathetic .5 Mbs down on bad days to up to 20 Mbs down. Since switching out one of my nic antennas with this I've been consistently getting 25+ Mbs down. The wifi is broadcasting through 1 floor and 3 walls on the other end of the house so I'd call it a success with limited investment. I don't do much uploading but with this it fluctuates between 25 and 50 Mbs up.
Summary: Ordered used, recieved new, minus original package material I have it at around 35 ft on a mast with a rotator. Works REALLY well. Be sure to use marine silicone on ALL joints and cables, and seal with black tape where needed. Use silicone adhesive on the reflector at the front of the horn, it has only one screw. Signals went from barely usable to full scale, goes through trees and most obstacles. Line of sight is best, of course.
