Works good

Ed P., Newegg
17 May 2013
  • Summary: As others had said this antenna only has 3dB of gain. I wouldn't call this a con as it clearly states it in the product description.
  • Pros: I received this free with my TP-LINK TL-WN951N. With the standard wifi antennas I had a 84% connection to my router (down stairs and across the house). When I attached the ANT2403N antenna to it my connection improved to 100%. The ability to position the antenna away from my PC (many other low band wireless devices connected, possible interference) I believe is what gave me the boost from 84% connection to 100% connection.
  • Cons: I wish the cable was a bit longer so I could keep it from taking up space on my small desk.

Nice for an Office

Peter R., Newegg
19 January 2013
  • Summary: Would have been great if the antennas had more gain, but then the thing would have been too big for an office desk. How bout a Home Version with 7dbi (or greater) antennas? Also, antennas don't appear to be replaceable, you can't unscrew them for bigger ones.
  • Pros: Came FREE with TP-Link TL-WA901N wireless access point. Nice for an office computer to replace the Wireless card antenna behind the PC and get it out in the open so it can get a Wi-Fi signal. Long cable, 3 connectors for the 3 antennas arranged "Like a Flower". Use all 3 or whatever your wireless Lan card or USB adapter needs. Standard connector.
  • Cons: Only provides 3db gain, same as Wi-Fi device stock antennas. Useless for most home users who can position their PC or wireless access point to pick up a signal anyway. Doesn't provide any Gain over stock antennas, just ablity to position in the open.

Dissapointing antenna

Jeffrey H., Newegg
27 November 2012
  • Pros: Looks cool...
  • Cons: Trying to increase data transfer speeds in a back bedroom wireless system I upgraded wireless adaptor to tp link adaptor with 450 mps capability, and a new tp link wireless router with the same 450 mps capability. all hooked up I had the same or less signal pick up to the computer. I ordered the antenna hoping to use it on either the router side to boost signal or the computer side to recieve signal better. On the router side the computer and another unit in another b...
