Summary: I have bought this LAN adapter and it sucks. They say that it is wireless but after talking with samsung the modem/router has to be in the say room and no more than 20ft. away. Really stinks spent hours with samsung and at&t tring to figure out why I poor wireless service. Thanks samsung not only is the tv not wireless ready but the recommened LAN adapter does not work. What to do. After hours on the phone finally ran a wire right from the modem.
Summary: This is a joke by far. If you want to hide this thing behind your tv forget about it working cause it will not work! Very dissappointing I love my Sammy 8000 but i wish they had put the wireless inside the unit. I know they did for 2011 8000. Big let down.
Summary: I plugged the wireless LAN adaptor into my Samsung Blu ray DVD player, followed the instuctions and it was quickly working perfectly. I am delighted with the multitude of movies and TV shows available on Netflix and now I can watch them when I want to. I have a AT&T U-verse broadband network and the Samsung LAN adaptor communciates directly with the router provided by AT&T.
Connection not easy - but works great after you can establish connection

Summary: I recently bought it after knowing that my BD player C5500 does not have a built in one. I was able to connect to wireless router but it would fail pinging the router. I tries both auto and manual options for the IP address. I called Samsung. They tried few things and gave up and finally said the standard answer that I need to contact the router guys - I have a linksys wireless N router. Any computer can connect to it except the BD player!!!
Summary: I was very disappointed when I found out that I had to purchase this separate item on top of the Samsung bluray player in order for me to get access to the internet via it. So I had to suck it up and order it. But I must say it works perfectly and got direct access online through it. Very easy to install, didn't even take 5 minutes. Definetely recommend it if you are planning to use your bluray for internet access.
Summary: Set aside that Samsung releases internet compatible TVs rather than internet available sets and forces owners to spend extra dollars buying a "dongle" to access the TV's widgets, this LinkStick is so big it protrudes 4" from the back of the TV so if your flatscreen is wall-mounted it's going to be way off the wall. It's also a pain to set up and Samsung's media menu is a slow, laborious process to navigate when you finally get wifi access.

Summary: Absolutely brilliant. After playing with it for a while I realized that I had to connect it through the Blue Ray Entertainment unit, not the TV. What a fantastic addition to our new TV and sound system!!! We can now get updates to the system and access the apps like Netflix and FaceBook and more!
Summary: I got this adapter with TV. At the beginning I couldn't get it work with my Cisco wireless router with WAP2. It found the connection but couldn't connect after I input the security key. So I called the custom service and a woman let me work through the exact steps I did and of course I didn't work. And then she blamed the router (LOL all my other wireless devices work fine with the router). The custom service is helpless. Then I decided to figure out the problem myself.
Summary: Works fine the first time then when you turn the TV off and on again, it gives the message "connection failed due to network interference". Samsung customer service is useless. The do not want to acknowledge that there is a problem with this adapter when using with TVs. I own a brand new 2010 C series. The adapter works fine with the blu-ray player but when it comes to the TV, I have to reenter the router's password everytime! Not worth my time. $80 in the trash!
